As a 25+ year veteran of the electronic security industry, it is not often that you find a company like HS Technology Group.  I met the owner of HST, Stu Forchheimer, more than 10 years ago while serving on the Board of Directors for the Maryland Burglar and Fire Alarm Association.  I have had the opportunity to personally get to know him and found that he was a man of great character, vision and drive.  In time, I have also met several other HST employees and discovered they too were outstanding individuals. 

Several years ago Stu told me that if I ever became dissatisfied with my company or career to give him a call.  It was hard contemplating leaving a company I had been with for 13 years and helped build from the ground up, but in early 2011 I decided I wanted new opportunities and more room for growth.  I reached out to Stu and the offer was still on the table.  I had every confidence he would be equitable and Stu and his management team developed an extremely fair compensation package that exceeded my expectations.    

I began working on June 1, 2011 and have been in awe of the team and the company they have built. Every day I learn something new, a little more about my co workers and each day I feel more at home. I am truly humbled to be a part of the family.  I am inspired with a drive to succeed and I know with the awesome team behind and beside me I will excel to heights I have not yet imagined.

My only regret is that I didn't make this move when it was first offered.
