Home Theater Systems

Whether you’re interested in a home theater system for your home or a dedicated, high-end media room, we have the solution.

Today, family home entertainment is much more than watching, it’s about the experience. At HST, we utilize the latest audio and video technologies as well as integrated lighting and environmental controls to create a more immersive entertainment system for your home. Meaning, movies are more epic; video games are more interactive; surfing the web is more effortless, listening to music is more enjoyable...

But, before you start looking at home theater installations it’s important to ask yourself:

How do I want to use the room?

  • Show movies and films
  • Watch sports and television programming
  • Play video games
  • Listen to music
  • Entertain family and friends
  • Or, all of the above

The answer will guide the design, equipment choices, and furnishings of your room. Whatever you envision, we offer the best technology solutions to fit your home, your budget and your lifestyle.

Space and Budget Considerations:
A List of Questions for Getting Started

Before starting any home theater or home media room project, it’s critically important to understand several factors regarding your space and your budget. Here are a few things to consider:

  • What is the size and shape of the room?
Consider viewing angles, distance from the screen, and speaker locations.
  • What number of people will the room need to accommodate?
  • What amount of ambient light does the room provide?
Consider natural light from windows, skylights, sliding glass doors, etc. at various times of the day (morning, noon, afternoon and dusk).
  • What are the room’s acoustics? How does sound resonate in the room?
    Consider carpet, tile, hardwood, etc.
  • Will you be working with an architect, interior designer, builder, or just HST?
  • What is the most important element of your theater?
Consider the picture, the sound, or the seating?
  • Are you planning to incorporate existing equipment or will you be starting from scratch?
  • What other expectations do you have regarding the design, technology or room?
Be sure to describe all the details you envision.
  • Have you established a budget and if so, have you thought about allocating certain amounts to specific categories?
Be sure to consider; sound including speakers and acoustics, video including screens and projectors, lighting and shades, furnishings and design etc... Be sure to consider some allocation for each category.
