Case Studies

Baltimore Basilica
HST provided lighting control maintenance and programming services for the 200+ year old Baltimore Basilica—otherwise known as America's First Cathedral, the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In addition to increased automation, we provide ongoing support to the Basilica by making a certified technician available to handle unique situations as they arise.

Temple Oheb Shalom
The Temple of Oheb Shalom asked us to upgrade their existing fire protection and security systems. The temple school required an enhanced level of facility reporting, so we integrated many unique wireless components into the system that provided real-time text message alerts and web-based facility monitoring.

New Psalmist Baptist Church
Many construction firms in the area realize the expertise HST brings to the table. We’re often brought in to design a solution for an unusual problem. During the construction phase of the 40-million square-foot New Psalmist Baptist Church, the general contractor contacted us to assist in securing the 32-acre parcel by using state-of-the-art technology to electronically notify guards on call when an area of concern was breached. We also added the capability to light up the area and alert the individual that they should leave the premise at once. This resulted in dramatically reduced trespassing on the construction site.
