Replace all your keys with one small, wireless keyfob.

Access Control is best described as “an electronic procedure restricting entrance to a property, building, or a room”. Through programming, an access control system determines who is permitted to enter or exit, where they are permitted, and when they are permitted. The parameters can be modified to allow different rights for individuals—such as managers, personnel, cleaning staff, and others. Managers can have rights to enter or exit at any given time, 7 days a week, while staff may only be permitted to enter or exit during the hours of 7:30am - 7:30pm. An access control system can also be programmed to adjust for holidays and other occasions.

Retrofit any existing door

Today more than ever, businesses of all sizes are adopting security and access control technology to safeguard their facilities and personnel from unwelcome intruders. These cost-effective access control systems are designed to meet your specific requirements—controlling who enters and exits your facility. Virtually any door can be retrofitted with a locking system tailored to an end user’s requirements. When designed correctly, these systems can provide personnel tracking, image verification, employee information, and event documentation. HST also provides software to help manage time, attendance, and payroll administration.

Building Control Systems for Any Size Business

From single door standalone systems to an elaborate multi-door, multi-facility networked system, HST can design an access control system for any size business. HST also offers a Smart Access System that enables your system to integrate with an alarm system, video surveillance or fire system which can be controlled remotely from a smartphone or Internet connection.

The primary goal is to have a secured facility that allows you to maintain control at all times. It prevents you from having employees lose keys or make copies. If an employee is terminated or resigns, you can easily delete their access card or keyfob—removing any assigned permissions. The system can also alert you if a card is used and access is denied.

Case Study: New Psalmist Baptist Church

Many construction firms in the area realize the expertise HST brings to the table. We’re often brought in to design a solution for an unusual problem. During the construction phase of the New Psalmist Baptist Church, the general contractor contacted us to assist in securing the 32-acre parcel by using state-of-the-art technology to electronically notify guards on call when an area of building under construction was entered after hours. We also added the capability to light up the area and alert the individual that they should leave the premise at once. This resulted in a dramatic reduction in trespassing on the construction site.
